How much for 1kg of laundry?
Flat rate for all order sizes: $1.20/kg (30,000đ) for 24h delivery, or $2/kg (50,000đ) for 4-hour express. No tier pricing — 5kg costs the same per-kg as 50kg. Minimum 5kg per order.
Is pickup + delivery free?
Yes — included in the $1.20/kg rate for 14 inner-city districts: D1, D3, D4, D5, D6, D7, D8, D10, D11, Bình Thạnh, Phú Nhuận, Gò Vấp, Tân Bình, Tân Phú, Thủ Đức. Outer districts (D2 Thảo Điền, D9, D12, Bình Tân, Hóc Môn, Nhà Bè, Bình Chánh, Củ Chi, Cần Giờ): +$1.60 (40,000đ) one-time delivery fee per order, NOT per kilogram.
What's the whites-only +$3 add-on?
White clothes washed with colored clothes will yellow after 3-5 washes. Giặt Ơi! offers a separate-machine whites-only cycle with specialty detergent (oxygen bleach, safe). Optional +$3 (80,000đ per order, not per kilo). Highly recommended for white shirts, white linens, white kids clothes you want to keep white long-term.
Surcharge for weekends / holidays / Tết?
No. Price is uniform 24/7/365 — weekends, holidays, Tết Vietnamese New Year, late-night pickup, all same rate. Most laundry services charge 20-100% surcharge during Tết peak season. We don't.
Can I pay with USD or foreign credit card?
Vietnamese vendors typically don't accept foreign credit cards directly. Payment options for travelers: cash (VND), VietQR via Vietcombank, or bank transfer. Get VND from any ATM (Eximbank ATMs accept most international Visa/Mastercard, fee ~50,000đ + your bank's foreign withdrawal fee). You only pay AFTER clean laundry is delivered — never in advance.
How much will I save vs hotel laundry?
Hotel laundry in HCMC: $3-12/kg (3-star 80-120k/kg, 5-star 200-600k/kg). Giặt Ơi!: $1.20/kg. For a 5-day stay with 6kg of laundry, you save $25-65 USD (3-star hotel comparison) or $110-355 USD (5-star hotel comparison). Quality is identical or better — we use industrial wash/dry machines, hotels use older in-room equipment.
What if my clothes are damaged or lost?
Driver photographs and weighs each bag at pickup and delivery. Any discrepancy (item missing, damage we caused): we reimburse at market value within 48 hours. Our actual loss rate is 0.02% (1 in 5,000 orders). For high-value items (designer, wedding dress, leather), tell us at pickup — we add extra care + photo documentation.
