Visiting Hanoi and running low on clean clothes? Giặt Ơi! is bringing its Ho Chi Minh City pickup-and-delivery laundry to Hanoi. When we launch, you will be able to get laundry collected from your hotel, washed, dried and returned the same day — without finding a laundromat or paying hotel-laundry prices.
Your laundry options in Hanoi today
Right now, visitors to Hanoi have three choices. Hotel laundry is convenient but expensive, usually charged per item and often slow. Small local laundry shops are cheaper but rarely speak English and seldom pick up. Self-service coin laundromats barely exist in Vietnam — the local model is full-service pickup and delivery.
Giặt Ơi! is built for that third option done right: you message us, a driver comes to your hotel, your clothes are washed by the kilo at a flat price, and everything comes back the same day.
How it will work when we launch
Booking takes a minute over WhatsApp or Zalo — just your hotel and an estimated weight. A driver collects from the lobby, weighs your bag on the spot and gives you a photo receipt. Your laundry is washed, machine-dried and folded, then delivered back to the same lobby. You pay on delivery, in cash or by transfer. No app, no signup, no deposit.
Where in Hanoi we will cover
At launch Giặt Ơi! plans to serve the areas tourists actually stay in: the Old Quarter and Hoan Kiem in the centre, the West Lake (Tay Ho) area, Ba Dinh, and the main districts around them. If you are near Hoan Kiem Lake, the Old Quarter, or the Dong Xuan market area, you will be within the pickup zone.
What it will cost
Giặt Ơi! uses flat per-kilo pricing with no per-item surprises. In Ho Chi Minh City it is 30,000đ/kg for standard 24-hour service and 50,000đ/kg for 4-hour express, with a 5kg minimum. A typical traveller load is 4-6kg, so a mid-trip wash is only a few US dollars — far less than most hotel laundries. Official Hanoi pricing will be confirmed at launch.

Yes — when Giặt Ơi! launches in Hanoi, booking and support will be in English over WhatsApp and Zalo. You will not need any Vietnamese to arrange pickup, payment or delivery.
